  • Ziggy

I would absolutely trust Salima again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to look after their bird… and here’s why:

I’ve left my Conure for the first time and it was a big step for me, but the experience turned out to be fantastic. From the beginning, Salima was friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to ask about my conure’s routine, diet, and personality, which immediately made me feel reassured that my girl would be well cared for.

Throughout the stay, I received updates and could tell that my parrot was super relaxed and happy in the environment. It was clear that a lot of care and attention was given, and my bird was treated like part of the family rather than just a boarding pet.

When I picked my Ziggy up, she was healthy, calm, content and clearly well looked after. I’m so glad I chose Salima for our first experience—it made the whole process stress-free and positive.

    Khalifa

We are so pleased to have found Salima and the London Boarding House, having been worried about where in London we could board our Green-Cheeked Conure, Khalifa.

Khalifa can be a bit of a handful but Salima was very comforting, knowledgeable and adept at handling her and her many tantrums. Khalifa was looked after like a queen throughout her stay, enjoying some quality time with feathery friends, and we received fun and insightful updates about what she was up to each day with Salima. Khalifa enjoyed her stay so much that we practically had to prise her away when we came to pick her up.

Salima has a great set up, is very caring and passionate about birds and their welfare and I would highly recommended!

  • Two small blue and gray budgerigar parrots interacting on a textured surface, one perched on a woven mat and the other lying down.

    Harvey & Pinot

We are so happy to have found Salima and her feathery friends. We boarded our two Parrotlets with her for two weeks, and they loved every minute, of it while we were able to go on holidays knowing they are in great hands.

Salima is very knowledgeable about all types of birds and was even able to provide expert care for our special needs bird who is unable to use his legs. Throughout their time at Salima’s we were given constant updates about their stay.

We can highly recommend boarding and taming your birds with Salima.

    Katie

Katie had a fantastic week with Bird House Boarding while we were on holiday. Salima was very helpful during the booking process and did a great job of introducing a nervous Katie to her new surroundings.

She isn’t usually good at making new friends, so we loved receiving the daily photos and videos that showed her settling in and forming a close bond with Murielle, who really took time to get to know her and accommodate her (rather demanding) personality quirks.

We’re so pleased to have found a home away from home for Katie in North West London, run by brilliant people who genuinely know and love birds - we’re already planning her next visit!

  • A white cockatoo perched on a person's hand, with a blurred indoor background.

    Snowy

Amazing bird trainer. I was confused as to why my bird was crying and Salima came to the rescue and was very helpful and knowledgeable about birds. If you are in London and you need a bird sitter or even your bird tamed, give Salima a shout.

  • A parrot with the body of a bird and a face of a human baby, perched on a colorful rope.

    Chilli

Chilli had a great time staying at Bird House Boarding. Even though he was in a biting mood in the first few days, he was soon very comfortable staying away from home. The daily photos and videos were also very reassuring. Would definitely recommend.

  • A green parrot with a red beak perched on a wooden branch, with a bird toy and hanging chain in the background.

    Muna

When I got Muna, she was quite fearful of hands and fingers and would be aggressive and didn't want anyone near her cage. After 3 weeks of training, she is much more friendly and has bonded with me. She let's me pet her and is always flying to me when she sees me.
